The OnePlus 15 has surfaced on Geekbench, and its numbers point to a serious leap over its predecessor. Equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 16 GB of RAM, the device shows roughly 25% higher performance compared to the OnePlus 13.
OnePlus 15 Geekbench scores top its predecessor
Listed under model number PLK110, the Chinese variant of the OnePlus 15 posted 3,709 points in single-core and 11,000 in multi-core. That’s a sharp climb from the OnePlus 13, which scored 2,967 single-core and 8,807 multi-core with the earlier Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
Early tests showed weaker results
Interestingly, the OnePlus 15 had appeared earlier on Geekbench with much lower numbers, just 639 single-core and 1,871 multi-core, likely because of an underclocked CPU. The latest results suggest the chip is now running at full strength.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 raises the bar
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is quickly establishing itself as a heavyweight. A Xiaomi 17 device tested with the same chip delivered similar results 3,705 single-core and 11,228 multi-core putting it in line with the OnePlus 15. More details about the processor are expected at the Snapdragon Summit on September 23.
OnePlus 15 leaked details
Beyond performance, leaks point to several upgrades and design changes for the OnePlus 15:
- BOE X3 Oriental screen with a 165Hz refresh rate
- 7,000 mAh battery with 120W charging (up from 6,000 mAh and 100W)
- New square rear camera housing
- No more Hasselblad tuning replaced by the in-house DetailMax Engine
- Slightly smaller, lower-resolution display compared to the OnePlus 13
Launch window could arrive soon
Reports suggest the OnePlus 15 may debut in China in October, with a global launch in early 2026. If the Geekbench results are any indication, OnePlus fans can expect a flagship with both speed and stamina to spare.
The gap between generations isn’t just incremental this time it’s decisive.
